Thursday July 10th Summer Picnic
All three groups are being invited to get together to do a 6 mile walk around Abbotts Wood followed by a picnic at Sarah’s place with extra entertainment being probided by Alex Clarke who has kindly agreed to demonstrate and teach us some circus skills like spinning diabolos and plates and juggling!
We will start from 5 Sayerland Road, Polegate, BN26 6NU. Nearest bus stop is in Hailsham Road and it is less than 10 minutes walk from Polegate Railway Station. Plenty of on street parking so no need to go to Polegate Rec first. We start at 10.00 am.
We return to Sarah’s place at about 1.00 pm. and everyone is invited to bring their own picnic into her back garden. Hopefully the Leisure Walkers can join us here if they wish.
We are hoping that some members will bake a cake or similar to share. Please would members let Sarah know if they intend to do this.
